For years, Sportsbook.com did mess up their good fortune (good domain) with some shoddy customer service and confusing rules that led to client disputes. It also led to forums full of arguments and a tarnished brand.
But when new management acquired the URL in 2006 and made the company leaner and tighter, things began changing for the better. However, for all the improvements, there is still a long way to go to rehabilitate a reputation dragged through the mud.
Long headquartered in Costa Rica, parent company Jazette Enterprises set up in the established regulatory realm in Curacao, home to PinnacleSports.com and other top online sportsbook brands. It’s a long way from its pioneering days in 1996 and 1997 when it was one of the first entrants to the space and dealt with company spats and break-ups.
Sportsbook.com has always been one of the leaders in marketing, producing stylish websites and offering unique bonuses. That hasn’t changed – in fact, they have improved on their already high-level quality in this regard.
The site offers a tremendous array of gambling options and a slick, clear navigation that gets the bettor exactly where he wants to go. And there are always cool, event-specific odds and prop bets on items like Triple Crown of Horse Racing, Tour de France and all the major sporting events.
Few companies focus as clearly and ruthlessly on the entertainment value of a great overall package – from the first arrival on the site to the final payout on winnings. It is tight and professional and a solid welcome for those new arrivals who think ‘sportsbook’ and type in Sportsbook.com.
In time, with continued commitment to service and customer satisfaction, the place where ‘Everybody Bets’ could eventually make people forgive and forget.
