Chicago hasn’t won the Stanley Cup since 1961 and hasn’t won in Philly since 1996.

Both streaks can end Wednesday, but the odds favor the Flyers on the Game 6 moneyline to force the series to a deciding game back in Chicago.

So far the home ice advantage has held true for this series as every game has been won by the host team. With the first two games in Chicago, the Blackhawks outlasted Philly in Game 1 by the score of 6-5 and shut them down in Game 2, winning 2-1.

The Flyers rallied to take Game 3 in overtime 4-3 and hung onto win Game 4 by a score of 5-3 in Philadelphia. The series shifted back to Chicago and once again the Blackhawks took advantage by rolling to a 7-4 victory on Sunday night that put them one win away from their first Stanley Cup since the 1960-61 season.

Given the way that things have gone in this series, as well as the resiliency of this Flyers team, you would have to think that a Game 7 showdown scheduled for Friday night is inevitable. In this game, most of the available odds point to that conclusion as well.

Philadelphia is currently favored at -130 in the money line. The overall series price still favors the Blackhawks to hoist the Cup as Chicago is currently -470 while Philadelphia is +385.

The current odds for some of the other prop bets for this game include Philadelphia at -140 they will score the first goal of the game and Chicago at +105 they get on the board first. The money line is at -135 that a goal will be scored in the first nine minutes and at -105 it will be scored after that.

The line is +3400 that game remains scoreless in regulation. If you are looking for another overtime ending the money line is +290 the game ends in a tie at the end of regulation and -410 it ends after three periods with a clear cut winner.

In this postseason, the Flyers have repeatedly had the ability to quickly put poor performances behind them and come out ready to play in their next game. Given that there is no tomorrow if they lose this one, along with the fact they are back on home ice sets things up for them to win this game and force a deciding game seven back in Chicago.
