Another company working hard to right old wrongs of slow-paying customers, new management focused on fairness and positive experience. One of best sportsbook websites, excellent odds variety for international players.

Bonuses, 9.1 – Another area of consistent excellence for SIA is bonuses. In the old days (pre-2000). Big bonuses were simply a precursor to scamming players. Today, it indicates a willingness to aggressively market and that their odds are sharp enough and product solid enough to recoup that initial player reward. The company has dabbled in a double-up 100% bonus up to $125, sometimes as high as $200, in an effort to attract new players abd to prove to their old players that things have changed for the better.

Customer Service, 8.9 – *raised .3 pts in 2011. The company had a long way to go in this regard to become a solid citizen among the top online sportsbooks. But that is what has been happening, with a renewed dedication to customer satisfaction and fairness. A slick LiveChat tool and a searchable FAQ/Knowledge Base database ensures customers get their questions answered either via do-it-yourselfing or via the help of a trained rep. There is also North American and international phone support. Hiring of numerous industry veterans to manage affiliate programs and business development have helped in this regard.

Odds variety, 9.1 – Excellent assortment of odds, on both North American and international sports. Also includes some unique game lines on Triple A baseball (where you can wager on the Toledo Mud Hens vs. the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs). Want to bet in darts? No sweat. Cycling? Got it. SIA also boasts a live betting product primarily with soccer that adds even more odds daily to their menu as you can wager within the game.

Overall Experience, 8.8 – The experience here has improved in large part because the customer service and commitment to player satisfaction has improved. It changed in 2011 for US customers as the company opted to retreat from that market and focus on other jurisdictions. The site has always been sharp and polished, although SIA has raised their own bar in terms of quality, and the bonuses are now more in line with standard industry numbers. All the gambling options are represented here with sportsbook, casino, poker and horses available and the addition of in-game wagering and a slew of fun free games (like Soccer Penalty Shootout, Craps etc) can be welcome distractions while bets are pending. Content and stats content is solid.

Payment Solutions, 8.9 – Has been reliable in terms of depositing through credit cards, bank transfers and other means. E-check had been a reliable payout form in 2011 before decision to stop accepting US traffic. Where criticism has arisen in the past is on the withdrawal/payment side where complaints of slow-playing (basically stalling in paying winnings in hopes players will continue to wager and lose) had been rampant. That has cleaned up markedly to the point where there are seldom reported issues. Again, revisiting past complaints and working to resolve them satisfactorily has been a company focus and this bodes well all around.

Reputation, 8.9  – Recent management efforts in resolving past complaints bodes well for the company’s continued climb up the rankings in this category. Once a book known for slow-playing winners and complaints of downright dishonest dealings, the new SportsInteraction appears focused on remedying old wounds and earning a clean reputation. One of the first online sportsbook to hit the web, it has been in business since 1997 and domiciled in the respected Kahnawake First Nation near Montreal Canada. Has moved away from the US market as of 2011.

Software, 8.9 – Running its own proprietary software and engaging a talented teams of engineers and programmers to ensure its smooth operation, SIA has a unique platform that has proven effective over the years. Live betting platform also one of the best in the business.

Stability/License, 8.8 – Based in Kahnawake, a First Nation near Montreal Canada, and licensed by the local Kahnawake Gaming Commission, SportsInteraction has been domiciled in the same location under the same license for more than a decade. In terms of longevity, it ranks among the best in the industry and there is little doubt about the financial backing and security behind the scenes. It ranks a bit lower in part due to legacy issues associated with customer dissatisfaction. While that has been largely remedied, it is an important area that TopSportsbooks.com wants to see steady and sustained improvement over years.

TSB Experience, 9.0 – Various vendor and client relationships since about 2004 have always been conducted professionally and respectfully. There have never been any issues of contract breaches or vendor slow-paying that TopSportsbooks.com members have experienced. Of late, TSB has enjoyed more open discussions with and access to senior managers and this has solidified their image in the collective view of TSB.

Website , 9.3 – Excellent site, stylish and logical with terrific color and design contrasts. Where many try to overload the home page, SIA manages to get lots of key detail included but in an eye-pleasing and professional layout. Entry points to signup, bonus and odds sections are clear and clean. Site loads fast, betting menu is lively and user-friendly. TopSportsbooks.com rates SIA second in this category.
