Justbet has been a respected brand in the marketplace since 2006, but its predecessor brands date back to 1996 – the very beginnings of the online sportsbook scene. The amalgamation of players and technology from those various brands has cemented Justbet’s claim to quietly being one of the best places to play.

Bonuses, 9.2 – Bonuses ebb and flow in importance and it has become a focal point for many shops again in 2012. JustBet is no different, putting together a solid 155% bonus offer for new players. There are strings attached (as you would expect with this much free money) but the offer is credible if you deposit and play various channels. There is also a bonus for trying their mobile platform.

Customer Service, 9.1 – Justbet has not experienced the type of major customer service disasters that others have suffered and it is mainly because of the variety of options to help. A full page on their website is dedicated to contact details for various departments, email addresses and live chat help.

Odds Variety, 9.3 – More of a recreational book focused on the bread and butter of American betting – point spreads, moneylines, totals and props. You will not find the huge variety of other shops or the thousands of alternate spreads and totals that European shops like 365 offers. Still, its a solid offering that gives a taste of future and prop action, while ensuring odds are available faster than some of their slower competitors.

Overall Experience, 9.1 – The Justbet is clean and stylish and does not overdue it with confusing channels or too much activity. They provide industry-leading stats and trends, along with easy access to the racebook and casino channels (where they offer three separate casino styles). On the downside, no poker room here, so fans will need another ‘out’ if they like to play Texas Holdem at halftime of the big game.

Payment solutions, 9.3 – Quietly one of the better groups for handling payments and payouts, Justbet has not experienced any of the major headaches and public outcries over funding accounts. Again, they devote an entire page to the various funding and payout options, along with some of the fine print associated with each option. Person to person transfer, Moneybookers, bank wire are just a few of the options listed.

Reputation, 9.1 – No significant incidents in the past half decade have helped polish Justbet’s international reputation. The last bit of news associated with them as a February 2010 DDOS attack that was fended off successfully. In terms of paying customers and playing fair with bonuses, Justbet has a clean slate. Badlands,Tradewinds and Betguardian all merged under a single banner back in 2006 to focus efforts under the new brand.

Software, 9.0 – Using the respected ASI software, game play is consistent and reliable. Again, the absence of poker is a slight downfall.

Stability/License, 9.1 – Based in Costa Rica, where licensing is no longer offered, Justbet nonetheless has managed to maintain credibility and stability in the space. The hiring of some important industry veterans have helped that process and given vendors and partners some comfort.

TSB Experience, 9.1 - TopSportsbook.com vendor members have been working with Justbet for several years. The interaction has always been courteous and professional and it was reported that bills are always paid on time. That is a rarity in the industry and proves that paying is an important tenet of the business – this is critical for trust in the market. Another TSB member group has embarked on several new initiatives with JustBet in 2012 and we will be able to report on those further down the road. Topsportsbooks.com member companies make annual trips to Justbet headquarters in San Jose and are always greeted with respect and courtesy.

Website, 9.0 – The Justbet site is flashy without being shilly or flamboyant. And it is well-organized and flush with details of important parts of the business – such as how to get help and how to claim your bonus. Stats and trend packages help with site stickiness and ensure customers have data they can turn to before placing wagers.
